Bioarcheology Research Group

Bioarchaeology Research Group (BRG), is founded by members of the “Olga Necrasov” Laboratory of Anatomy and Bioarchaeology, Faculty of Biology, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi. BRG focuses primarily on generating and disseminating information and fostering a community in which members interested in Bioarchaeology and related disciplines can participate.

BRG promotes the study, understanding and importance of Bioarchaeology and its sub-disciplines, through research projects, publications and other academic issues. BRG supports young-professional members by providing mentors and guidance throughout their career, and provides access for members to synergize new methods, databases, and ideas. BRG collaborates with other professionals such as of the International Council for Archaeozoology (ICAZ), Association des Palynologues de Langue Francaise, International Phytolith Society (IPS), and other active working groups.
